Throwback to 1998, year 1 of Kona Coffee & Tea with a young Malia Bolton.
It is almost 25 years to the day that the first coffee seed was planted at the Kona Coffee & Tea family farm in Hawai’i, during the colder months of 1998. When our coffee took 1st Place in the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival cupping competition that same year, we knew we had something good…
But we never could have imagined all that Kona Coffee & Tea would become in a quarter century of farming, roasting, brewing, and laughing. And really, we have our subscribers to thank, both in the community of Kona and worldwide. Today, we ship Kona coffee to hundreds of our coffee subscribers around the globe, from Tokyo to Tuscaloosa.

So many of you left the islands wanting more Single Estate 100% Kona Coffee, requesting that Kona Coffee & Tea send a bit of Aloha every month from our family-owned and operated farm here in Hawai’i.
We are extremely passionate about producing the best possible 100% Kona Coffee, and oversee our entire process from the smallest seedling to the final roast, ensuring we have the highest quality and consistency standards every step of the way. We believe our farm is the very best when it comes to growing and producing Single Estate 100% Kona Coffee, and we believe in sharing our favorite coffees with our global ‘Ohana.
